NAAP would like to thank everyone who came out to the Taking Care of the Tribe Pow-wow. Thanks to your participation the entire day was filled with laughter, joy and even tears. This was the 5th Annual Taking Care of the Tribe Pow-wow and NAAP honored MC Tom Phillips, with a star quilt for his unwavering support of Pow-wow since it's inception. NAAP also presented the 1st annual, Evelyn Chapman award for Excellence in HIV Care and Prevention, to our very own Anna LeRoy, (Peer Advocate and Pow-wow Coordinator) for her dedication to the community and her outstanding work in HIV care and prevention! On behalf of everyone here at NAAP, thank you Anna, for your unwavering morale support, your outstanding character and your sense of humor that you bring with you to the office each and every day!
